- Rates are $185 for individuals and $275 for couples. There are a limited number of time slots available for clients seeking sliding scale fees, which are based on financial need. Fees are discussed and agreed upon prior to initial consultation. Payment is accepted through personal check or Zelle.
Insurance:
- I am not in-network with insurance plans, but I do accept all out-of-network insurance plans. Please check with your insurance company to find out if you have out-of-network coverage. Out-of-network coverage often has a deductible, and then covers a percentage of each visit after the deductible is met.
- I will provide you with a "superbill" each month that includes procedure code and diagnosis, which you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
Session duration and frequency:
- Individual sessions are 45 minutes in length, while couples sessions are 60 minutes. Meeting weekly is recommended for many clients to gain the most benefits from therapy.
Consultation session:
- The consultation is about finding a good fit, and determining if you feel comfortable working with me. This is where we discuss an overview of the issues that are bringing you to therapy, and answer any questions about how the process works. There is a fee for the full consultation session, which we will agree upon in advance. If you do not want to have a full consultation, I offer a 10 to 15 minute phone consult for no charge.
Cancellation policy:
- 24 hours notice is required to cancel a scheduled session. I cannot charge insurance for missed sessions, so clients are responsible for the full fee for late cancellations.
No Surprises Act, effective January 1, 2022:

- If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more for any provider or facility than your Good Faith Estimate from that provider or facility, you can dispute the bill.
- Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate and the bill.
